Served as First Black Police Reserve officer from 1964 - 1966 with the High Point Police Dept. Have been a member of North State since 1974. Served one year as President of Furniture City Chapter. Joined H.P.P.D. the year of 1967 and retired in 1997. Retired with the rank of Lieutenant. I am presently serving as Chaplain.
